Today my
girls and I went out in the garden and picked some apples. 
Peeled and rinsed
them.  
 Bashed together a good old doe modified
to fit on the grill. Normally this has no spices and is rather mild in taste so
I spice it up with musk and cinnamon.  Mix
white sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and add the apple slices and mix well so
they all are covered. 
Lit the
grill and let the charcoals be heated. I made the temperature stable at 350 degrees. And then put the cake under the lid to bake. 
Left it for
35-45 minutes (until it was dry inside) checking with a wooden BBQ spear. 
Served with
vanilla sauce this time.
